CONCERT DAY 3: Native America I – Hear Me Speak

The wide canyons under the windy sky sets the scenery for the story of Standing Bear in this dramatic concert program. The story is told in a cantata written in remembrance of the legacy of Chief Standing Bear of the Ponca Tribe and performed with several other complementary works. Written by Chickasaw composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha Tate, the cantata will be staged with visuals by the Ponca-Lakota artist Sarah Rowe and directed by Jill Anderson.
